Last Wednesday I was lucky enough to join Virgin America on their inaugural flight from San Francisco to Orange County. Check out this video for some highlights including spray tanning, makeovers, and Branson’s little kissy for Justine.
They were serving Veev açaí spirit for almost 12 hours, from the gateway at the airport, on the plane, at the tarmac in OC, and at the party. That’s a lotta booze! I really liked the Eau de Veev, which included 2 ounces VeeV Açaí Spirit, 1 lemon slice, 1 lime slice, 1 orange slice & 3 ounces tonic, shaken together.

The party was at Laguna Beach which was beautiful at night. It was such a smooth launch and I had a fantastic time. Check out Justine’s photos & post for more.
I love Virgin America.

Urban egg hunt on Youtube. Justine & I decided to hide some little treasures around the city for Easter. They were all gone the next day, so I’m sure they all found happy homes.
In related Easter news, this made me esploder:

The Wizard of Peeps diorama. Given my lifelong obsession with peeps & The Wizard of Oz, I am tempted to ask the creator to marry me. So much peep love.
And here is the first video I put on the internet (lovingly made with Jumpcut in 2006):
Peep experiment on Youtube
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

| Tom and I have been working together for the past few weeks and we’re finally ready to show off our creation. Behold the adorableness of Sugar Fiends!

This American Apparel cranberry vneck tshirt features an adorable zombie cupcake, complete with brain frosting and a drooling desire for braaaaainnns. The little zombie hungrily stares at your sweet, juicy cranium from his comfortable spot over your heart.

Instantly fall in love with this innocent cat-octopus-cupcake. He lives on the bottom left corner of a light blue American Apparel sheer jersey cap sleeve raglan. The bold orange color really makes him pop. His name is Catapus and he’s looking for a happy home.
They are designed by Robot Octopus aka Tom. He is a great artist who I’ve known for a long time. I’m very excited to be collaborating with Tom on this project, not only because he is wonderfully gifted but he’s also as sweet as these cupcakes.
More pics of the shirts here. You can order either (or both!) of these shirts below. We made a tiny run of these shirts so get one while they’re still available. I have some other colors that I will release in the coming weeks. Thanks for your support!

Cornification IRL on Youtube
Jake went on vacation for a few days, and came back to find his desk protected (perhaps infested…) by unicorns.
Cornify is the #1 unicorn and rainbow service worldwide, giving websites sparkle around the world. I think Yoko & Justin should start a brick and mortar Cornify business. They obviously have the skillzzz.

| I stopped by the bacon yogurt celebration a few weeks ago. The stuff is tasty.
Doc Pop’s Bacon Yogurt on Youtube
Only 2 more days to eat the delicious Bacon, maple, cereal yogurt at YoCup. Try it before it’s gone! If you don’t live in San Francisco, just add the ingredients to some plain yogurt, and it’s almost the same experience.
Speaking of bacon and dessert, Heather Lynch took the grand prize at BaconCamp for her Maker’s Mark Ice Cream with a Maple Caramel Swirl and Candied Bacon Bits. I didn’t make it out to to the event (yes, it was my baby, but so it goes), and I’m hoping Heather will make another batch soon so I can taste it. Yum!
BTW BaconCamp kicked major ass. 40+ presentations, 9 prizes, 300+ people, $1500+ raised for AHA. I am thoroughly pleased. Expect another BaconCampSF in a few months. Check out the blog for more details about the past event, and some photos on flickr.

I’m looking forward to:

Hot financial district people (aka fai deee hotties)

the view
One book closed, another opens.
